#1 - Most Daily Backups Can Not be Restored
Storage Magazine revealed that nearly 34% of businesses do not
test their backups regularly; and of the businesses that did, 77%
found they were unable to fully recover data from their tapes. This study
shows that there is a high likelihood that, at any given time, the data you
can restore from tape could be many days, or even weeks old, or it may not
be able to be restored at all.
